Have you read some great books outside of Red Maple? Are there some great books you think your friends should read? Or maybe a favourite author? This is the place to share your ideas!
I have only read one book so far and that book was "Peroulus Passage" it was an ok book. If you like books set back in older days then this book is for you!!!
Outside of Red Maple, there are plenty of books that I reccomend such as: The Laurie Faria Stolarz series, which include Blue is for Nightmares White is for Magic Silver is for Secrets and Red is for Rememberence.
All about a precognative wiccan girl, 17 years old, named Stacey. She can see the deaths of people around her before they happen, and it's a race for her to prevent them. In the fourth and last book, Stacey is a freshman at a new college, and going through a tough time after the dissapearance of her boyfriend,Jacob, Stacey is having a hard time adjusting, but the Dean at her school asks her to help his daughter, also precognative, and she seems to have a connection to Jacob.
Another would be The Host, by Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight Series, which most people have read.
Thanks Megan for all the recommendations! Once I finish all the Silver Birch and Red Maple, I'll add them to my list. Especially the Stephanie Meyer one - I thought Twilight was her first book, I guess not!
The Twilight Saga is definitely my favourite book series, but the Host, although it's not a series, is a close second. The first two or three chapters are kind of confusing, but after that, it's highly addicting. I have a copy, if you want to read it. :)
I'm the Teacher Librarian here at Princess Margaret. I've taught here in all kinds of grades for the past 12 years! I love the job I have now because I get to know everyone in all grades.
